It opened in 1926 as the Senate Theatre. before becoming the Cotillion Terrace in 1958.

The Home Reporter – future President Ronald Reagan and wife Nancy are shown in April, 1978 at the Cotillion Terrace catering hall on 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst, where Mr. Reagan addressed 500 guests at the annual County GOP Dinner, now named in his honor.
