Because of that deep neighborhood love, I created a highly detailed miniature replica to preserve Lioni’s history in three-dimensional form.

This miniature replica was originally commissioned as a gift for owner Paul DiSpirito from his wife, Lisa. Paul took over Lioni Italian Heroes in 2007 and has proudly continued the shop’s tradition of quality, consistency, and family atmosphere.
From the moment he saw the finished model, Paul smiled and said:

I modeled this piece directly from the real 15th Avenue storefront. Both floors appear exactly as they were originally ordered. In addition, I recreated the brickwork, windows, signage, and entrance details to match the real building.
Most importantly, I included the two front flags that mean a great deal to Paul. These small details give the piece its emotional and historical weight.
