Lenny’s Pizza 86th street Saturday Night Fever Bensonhurst Brooklyn miniature display model

$185.00

The iconic Bensonhurst pizza shop made famous in the movie Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta. In the film, Danny played by John walks down 86th Street and up to the order window at Lenny’s. He orders 2 slices. Puts one on top of the other, starts to walk away and eats it.

It was located on 1969 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11214.

As a kid I would dream of walking down 86th st. and going to Lennys Pizza. Just like John Travolta. When I got older that dream came true. I even got to meet John right there many years later. It was shocking to hear of Lenny’s closing, a very sad day. That’s why it was bitter sweet to design this miniature diorama display model.

I learned that Frank and daughter Josephine Giordano are closing their beloved pizza place, Lenny’s Pizza, on Feb. 19, 2023. It was a somber day as this was a landmark shop on 86th Street in Brooklyn.

This beloved Pizzaria shut its doors after 70 years.  I created this special model for those that want to keep the memories alive forever.
