One of America’s legendary steak houses. It was Established in 1887 by Peter Luger, a Bavarian immigrant who was only 21 years old at the time, Luger’s is the third-oldest steakhouse in New York. However, it was not until the 1960s that it gained widespread recognition as one of the finest establishments of its kind, largely due to the advocacy of the renowned restaurant critic Craig Claiborne.
