Pips Comedy Club was legendary. Many top comedians performed there before moving on. George Shultz founded Pips in 1962. His son Marty (1955-2013) took over before becoming a casino host. His other son Seth Schultz also helped manage the place. It had been named after the Dickens character of Pip. The club was bought in 2005 by Joseph Vincent Gay. And is now long gone. This miniature model of Pips Comedy Club has been carefully designed to capture the spirit of Pips. And to honor all that got their start here in this Sheepshead Bay Club.
