Frank Sinatra was born only a few blocks away in a tenement at 415 Monroe Street. Which burned down in 1967. They have a plaque there in remembrance.

Two Term Mayor Anthony Russo served from 1993 to 2001. He was larger than life. During his leadership he is credited with huge economic growth and developing the waterfront to a beautiful public space. The signpost also features the Hoboken High School Red Wings football team who were State Champions for several years!
At some point during 1996 and 1998 a sticker of the rock group SNOT was placed on the sign. Adding to its allure.
I meticulously recreated the sign spending hours upon hours in production. And I think is a truly diverse city filled with amazing talented people.
